Are you a qualified Sport Coach or graduate? Do you have experience of working alongside children with challenging behaviour? Are you looking for a career in teaching? If so, we are recruiting a Sports Coach/ PE Specialist.

Schools in the Hull area are currently recruiting a qualified Sports Coach who has the confidence to deliver a variety of sessions to pupils in KS3, KS4 and KS5.

You will be responsible for:

  • The delivery and engagement of sports sessions to pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Adapting to the needs and interests of group or individual participants
  • Communicating instructions using clear, simple language
  • Demonstrating activities by breaking the task down into a sequence
  • Acting as a role model, gaining the respect and trust of the pupils
  • Working to high ethical standards, particularly in relation to safeguarding and health and safety requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant degree/ qualification (degree in sports coaching/science/studies, foundation degree in sports coaching, BTEC or HNC/HND)
  • The ability to quickly develop successful working relationships with pupils with varying levels of ability
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and patience

You will receive:

You will receive flexible working patterns; work can be part-time or full-time depending on personal preference and availability. Most positions do start on a temporary basis, but you will have the opportunity to progress into a permanent position. You will be assigned your own Recruitment Consultant to help manage your school booking and support your professional development and have access to our CPD Academy.

Daily Rate: £60 - £80

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
