Are you an experience sports coach looking to transition into working in secondary schools?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Sports Coach to join one of our partner secondary schools in Oldham from September 2019 to assist the PE department in delivering lessons. Initially on a fixed term contract until July 2020, there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to obtain a permanent contract following the successful completion of the academic year.

• Full time Sports Coach required from September 2019
• Fixed term contract (September 2019 - July 2020)
• Assisting PE department in delivering practical and theory lessons
• Fantastic facilities at a modern secondary academy in Oldham
• Earn up to £350 a week (dependent on experience)

Our partner secondary school is a modern academy located in the Lees area of Oldham that has 'Good' leadership and management that was judged by Ofsted in 2016. The 1200+ students at our partner school have access to excellent facilities throughout every department which enhances their learning experience whilst creating a positive atmosphere for teaching and learning.

As a Sports Coach at our partner secondary school, you will assist the PE department in delivering specific sport lessons including both practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum. There will also be opportunities to deliver extra-curricular sessions both during school social times including break and lunch times as well as after school. Experience of a range of different sports is highly desirable but not essential. Previous work in a secondary school is also not essential, as there will be many transferable skills from other roles and previous experiences.
