Job description

Are you a Sports Coach looking at gaining the necessary experience prior to progressing in to a career in PE teaching in the near future?

Due to the competitive nature of PE specific teacher training programmes, Teaching Personnel are working with a number of our client schools in Oldham to enable Sports Coaches to gain the necessary school based experience, on a paid basis, prior to beginning a teacher training programme.

- Meaningful insight in to the working life of secondary school teachers

- Invaluable and required school experience to enhance your PGCE application

- Flexible work around studies or current employment, tailored to suit your needs

- Earn whilst you gain experience (up to £300 per week)

- Regular work across Oldham secondary schools

Whilst working through Teaching Personnel at our client schools, you will have the opportunity to use your experience as a Sports Coach to lead full lessons of secondary PE in a range of sporting activities, along side experienced teaching staff. You will also gain classroom experience and a familiarity of working with students in theory based work, in PE amongst other subjects. This will enhance your application for a teacher training programme due to the regular and consistent work in a number of secondary schools.
