Are you a Sports Coach looking for work in an educational setting?

Are you looking to get into the Special Educational Needs / Behavioural Support and Secondary education sector?

Teaching Personnel have a number of positions which would be perfect for you!

In the Launceston area, and North Cornwall there has been a recent demand for experienced Sports Coaches to complete Cover Supervisor roles starting as soon as possible. Candidates applying should be happy to consider a range of schools with Ofsted judgements ranging from 'Special Measures' to 'Outstanding'. Schools are seeking sports coaches due to the experience leading and motivating pupils. Candidates considering this role should be very flexible and able to adapt to a wide range of educational scenarios. They should have good classroom behaviour management skills as the behaviour in a number of the schools can be quite challenging. Candidates should be able to quickly build relationships with pupils and staff to make a good impact in the school as soon as possible.

A suitable candidate for this role should:

- Be available to start as soon as possible

- Willingness to engage with children that may struggle to access education and professional resilience

- Have a passion for teaching and working in education

- Be qualified to degree level (desirable, not essential) with experience in a school environment

The roles which are available are full time permanent positions please specify on application which kind of role you would prefer. Candidates will benefit from negotiable pay rates depending on experience (£50-£75 per day). This role is perfect for a candidate looking to develop their experiences in a wide variety of schools and therefore further their career in education.
