Sports coach
Job description
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and energetic Sports Coach to join our team. In this role, you will design, deliver, and review engaging sports sessions within SEN schools, ensuring every participant feels supported, encouraged, and safe. This is a full-time position, running 8:30am–3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities

Create and deliver well-structured, engaging coaching sessions.

Encourage and motivate learners to build confidence, develop skills, and work effectively as a team.

Promote a safe, inclusive environment and follow current best practices.

Keep accurate attendance records and follow all safeguarding policies.
About You
Essential:
-
A recognised Level 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent).
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire others.
-
A dedication to safety, inclusivity, and learner wellbeing.
-
Current First Aid and Safeguarding certificates, or willingness to obtain them.
-
Willing to undertake or provide a valid DBS certificate.
Desirable:
-
Additional coaching qualifications or experience across multiple sports.
-
Experience planning sports programmes or organising events and tournaments.
-
A full driving licence and access to transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
