Sports Coach and Cover Supervisor

Full time Sports Coach and cover supervisor required for a Bolton based secondary school, from September 2018.

Due to a gap within their support team, this smaller than average Secondary Academy require a flexible Sports Coach to deliver PE sessions and a range of other support areas including English and Maths.

This is an unqualified teaching role which will provide those considering a teacher training course in the future with the ideal experience!

If you have previous experience working with young people within an educational capacity this is an excellent opportunity to secure a full time position following the summer holidays.

• Full time Sports Coach including general cover responsibilities required for a Bolton based Secondary Academy, September, 2018.

• Must hold relevant experience working with young people to be considered.

• Earn up to £1200+ per month.

The successful Sports Coach will be joining a well established secondary school which achieves outstanding results. Located in the Farnworth district of Bolton, the school is easily accessible from Bolton town centre and the surrounding areas, Salford, Bury and Manchester City Centre.

Within this role the incoming Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor will hold a range of responsibilities including;

• Deliver engaging sports and PE sessions to pupils across Key Stages 3-4, alongside the class teacher and or independently where required.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons within other subject areas in the absence of class teachers, where applicable.
• Support the delivery of extra curriculum sporting activities and sessions.
• Positively manage behaviour in accordance with school behaviour policies.
