Sports and Psychology Graduates Required in Behavioural School

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a specialist school for young people with social and emotional difficulties (SEMH/EBD) in Liverpool. This Liverpool school is seeking to recruit sports and psychology graduates to help support the children within a specialist department that provides outreach support for young people unable to access the main school. The school believe graduates in these areas have the engaging personality to help support these young people who (as a result of individual barriers) are not able to work in a classroom with other children. In this role the graduate will be expected to work in school and to provide personalised support for the young people.

The ideal applicant for this role will have experience of working with children or adults with with challenging behaviour and ability to manage challenging behaviour in a way which still produces positive outcomes. Having any CPD such as Team-Teach, SCIPP, MAPA or other restraint training would be highly beneficial.

The pay rate for this role is £9 per hour
