Job description

We are currently seeking a teaching assistant to join our increasingly growing team of passionate educators at Teaching Personnel.

Having a sporting background would benifit in this role as you are able to act and assess situations quickly and effectively. The role is more challenging than mainstream schools, but you would be work on a 1:1 basis so you'll really have a great opportunity to make an impact on the child/children.

The centre has been known to appoint candidates who get on particularly well on a long-term basis, which is a real incentive to show off your skill sets!

Having experience of working with children/young adults in or out of education is desired for this role. If you have experience of working with behaviour difficulties then this would benifit the job role.

When working in any educaitonal setting you must have a DBS. We ask for it to be child workforce only and on the update service to get work in the schools. If you do not have these then that is fine you can apply for a new one. However if you have one in childwork force and on the update service then we can get your documents processed quicker.
