Due to an increase in absences our client secondary school in Rochdale is currently seeking a Sports Graduate to join their cover team. This is an excellent opportunity for any sports graduate to gain classroom based experience prior to starting a teacher training programme.
- Flexible Sports Graduate position, starting immediately
- Get paid up to £65 a day dependant on experience
- Gain classroom based experience and behaviour management skills
- Work in a school where the staff are supportive and welcoming
The incoming Sports Graduate will be predominately based in the PE department covering both practical and pre-planned theory lessons in the absence of the teacher. You will be responsible for ensuring students are on task during their lessons, adhering to the schools policies and providing feedback to the classroom teacher as well as covering lessons in different faculties when cover isn't needed in the PE department.
Our client school is a mixed 11-16 secondary based in the semi- rural setting of Wardle, Rochdale, and the school is located close to the M62 motorway and has a range of public transport links a short walk away from the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
