POSITION: Speech & Language Teaching Assistant

LOCATION: Yeovil, Somerset

PERSON: A graduate with a passion for speech & language

START DATE: November

SALARY: £54 - £60 per day

SPEECH & LANGUAGE TEACHING ASSISTANT PERSON SPECIFICATION:

If you are planning to pursue a career as a Speech & Language Therapist, then this role will be of interest to you. My client school is looking for passionate Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to work in their fantastic school for the next academic year. You will be a graduate with a minimum of a 2:2 degree preferably in Human Communication or Speech & Language Therapy.

SPEECH & LANGUAGE TEACHING ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:

If you enjoy working with primary aged children and helping them overcome communication difficulties and other related problems, a career as a Speech & Language specialist could be the right choice for you. You will be working with primary aged children that are possibly bilingual or children with a range of special educational needs. This is a full time Teaching Assistant post which could open up many doors if you are actively pursuing a career in Speech & Language.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
