Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking speech and language specialist Teaching Assistants to work with individuals with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN).

We work exclusively with two specialists Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty (PMLD) Schools based in Hampshire, they're currently seeking new members of staff to support pupils with their educational and emotional development. These schools support both primary and secondary aged pupils with speech and language difficulties.

Previous transferable experience:

  • British Sign Language

Applicants must:

  • A current DBS or be willing to undergo one
  • Have experience working with children with SEN
  • Experience working with young people
  • Be passionate about making a difference in schools

This role would enable applicants to work Monday - Friday, between the hours of 08.30 - 15.30. This will provide applicants earning potential between £9.00 - £11.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
