Teaching Personnel are working with an outstanding Primary School based in Finsbury Park (Islington), who are seeking a recent Graduate to deliver speech and language lessons throughout the year groups as a Learning Support Assistant.

The role of a Speech and Language Learning Support Assistant will mean that you will use your experience and expertise to offer support and guidance to pupils who require support verbally. This will involve working on a one to one basis with various pupils who demonstrate communication difficulties, whilst delivering intervention sessions to small groups. You will have the opportunity to work closely with professional Speech and Language therapists in their own right, as well as various other specialists and Learning Mentors.

You will be able to demonstrate longevity and commitment to both the school and your pupils as the children will need stability throughout their learning and development. The successful candidate will have the motivation to go above and beyond for the pupils and their needs and would ideally like to gain experience within Speech and Language/With SEN children in a Primary School setting.
