Are you a passionate educator with experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEMH Home Tutor to join our team in East Grinstead starting from September.

As a Home Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs in the comfort of their homes. Your dedication and expertise will empower these learners to overcome challenges and achieve academic success.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Create personalized lesson plans tailored to the student's individual learning requirements.

- Foster a nurturing and understanding learning environment that builds rapport and boosts confidence.

- Address academic and behavioural challenges with patience and empathy.

- Track progress and provide feedback to both students and their families.

- Collaborate with parents and school staff to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive learning experience.

Job Details:

- Position: SEMH Home Tutor

- Contract: Starting from September (ongoing basis)

- Compensation: Daily rate + mileage reimbursement

Requirements:

- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is preferred.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs.

- Strong communication skills to liaise with parents, schools, and support staff effectively.

- A passion for empowering young learners and fostering their academic growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
