Specialist Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of an Alternative Provision School who are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This role will be supporting the learning manager providing effective differentiation, risk management procedures and feedback reports for students aged 3-19 years old.

The ideal candidate will be able to;

  • Demonstrate knowledge regarding teaching practice
  • Show sound understanding and training in Safeguarding
  • Three years experience working with children, young persons or vulnerable adults
  • Effectively communicate
  • Demonstrate effective record keeping

This role requires the following qualifications, experience and qualities;

  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education, Health and Social Care or relevant NVQ
  • Evidence of safeguarding training
  • A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Full Driving License
  • Committed and driven individual

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
