Job description

An OFSTED graded 'Good' school in the Trowbridge area is currently recruiting for a behaviour teacher to work 1-2-1 and in small groups to start as soon as possible for 1 term. The school provides specialist support to pupils who have been excluded or are in the process of being excluded and require additional support.

Ideally applicants would have experience with SEMH, although this is not essential. All applicants should posses the correct behaviours in order to support SEMH students within the classroom. Additional training such as Team Teach and de-escalation is advantageous. The provision is easily accessible from the M4 and other main routes, including regular bus routes with parking also on site.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status, experience supporting and managing challenging behaviour
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH or a willingness to learn
  • Patient and nurturing mannerism with excellent behaviour management skills
