Teaching Personnel, are recruiting for a Specialist Behaviour school. Our client is looking to appoint an outstanding, creative teacher to join their well established, successful and supportive team on a supply basis with an option to make it a permanent contract. The school provides an alternative provision for vulnerable young people aged 5-17, often with challenging behaviours. The school also provides specialist provision for students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcomed for this role. The post is to start as soon as possible, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

The successful applicant will have previous experience of working with pupils with additional needs and will have evidence of planning and delivering an engaging and well differentiated curriculum.

If you are an excellent classroom practitioner, love working alongside challenging students, building relationships and maintaining trust, this could be the job for you.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS.
  • Experience of working with students with additional needs or be acting experience within this field.
  • Experience of delivering a well differentiated curriculum.
  • The ability to build strong, positive relationships with staff and students.
  • Help children re-engage with their education.
  • Be empathetic and adaptable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
