Special Needs Teaching Assistant for a SEN school in Cardiff

We are currently recruiting specialist staff who have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs for long term jobs in SEN schools. We are currently working on behalf of a Primary aged SEN school in Cardiff who have asked us to support them with their recruitment process for September. So if you are looking for a new challenge, have experience in supporting SEN and you are happy to work with younger children. Then this could be a role for you.
Our Specialist SEN branch here at Teaching Personnel are specialist Special Educational Needs recruiters who have prior experience of working within the SEN sector. We have a depth of understanding in this field and will support you, the school and the children in any way we possibly can.

Worried you do not have specific qualifications for these roles but you have prior experience of working with children who have additional learning needs then please still do apply. The Ideal Candidate Will have:
- Relevant, recent and proven experience of working with children or adults with special needs
- The ability to be reliable, flexible and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, friendly and supportive attitude and a pro-active approach
The following are helpful but not essential:
- Teaching Assistant qualification
- Driving licence is desirable due to the location of some schools
- Experience in supporting or caring for younger children.
