Job description

A wonderful primary school in Clapham are looking for a committed SENTA to work in a 'Good' school starting in February 2019. This particular role will be up until the end of the academic year in July with the possibility of continuing into September 2019. The school caters for students from 5-11 years old, they are a positive and focused community who acknowledge the rights of their students to learn and develop as individuals. It is an essential part of the ethos of the school that they aspire to be a centre of educational excellence for students of all abilities. The school take pride on the fact that their staff are committed, forward thinking, positive and always put the needs of the students first to ensure they are successful during their primary years.

You'll be expected to do the following as a SENTA:

  • Work with students on a 1:2:1 basis and also small groups.
  • Go on regular training and regular CPD courses.
  • Ability to work with a team and individually.
  • Have a good understanding of a variety of SEN, specialising in 1 specific area.
