About the job:

• You will be employed by Teaching Personnel, teaching in schools around East Sussex.

We welcome teachers from all backgrounds with different specialisms, be it core subjects or creative ones

• You will teach children with Special Educational Needs, which could be autism, physical disabilities, and moderate to severe learning difficulties or communication and interaction difficulties.
• You will make lessons and activities accessible and all inclusive.
• You will work alongside a welcoming team including support staff and medical staff to ensure the best for your students
• In a day to day role you may need a driving license and your own vehicle to travel to different locations

About you:

• Previous experience with SEN students is preferable, but we will also consider newly qualified teachers for the role
• We want teachers whose personalities shine and can promote the social development of students as well as academic progress
• You will be confident in creating individual lesson plans tailored to the ability of each young person
• Most importantly you will be an encouraging mentor and positive role model!
