ASD 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant

A good school in Southwark is looking to recruit experienced LSAs to work 1:1 with children with Autism.

The School

The school has recently received funding for a number of new Educational Healthcare Plans throughout Reception and Year 1. The school are therefore looking to recruit LSAs who have previous SEN school based experience to work 1:1 on a full time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school which is rapidly expanding with plans to move to a brand new site in the near future and develop into a 2 form entry school.

The Role

The successful candidate in this role will be committed to raising attainment on a 1:1 basis. You will be proactive with a friendly yet strong personality and be able to implement clear daily structures for the child to ensure their progress. The role would be suitable for a recent graduate in Psychology, Sociology or other related fields. A relevant educational qualification such as a CACHE qualification or Btec in Health and Social Care would also be ideal for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
