Teaching Personnel are exclusively working alongside a "good" school in the Ealing borough.

We are specifically seeking an Autism Specialist Teacher, to start ASAP. The post will be for 2 terms with the option of extending to permanent position.

You will be working in an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) based in the Ealing borough. We are specifically looking for an autism specialist teacher to create develop and maintain a high quality educational environment for pupils with ASD. We are seeking an individual that is ambition for all the children and young people to achieve positive outcomes. During this role, you will lead on the on-development of your staffing in terms of their knowledge and skills to best support the children in the ARP and ensuring consistency in approaches when working with children.

The candidate will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have teaching experience in mainstream and special schools
  • Have experience working with young people with ASD.
  • Have previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviour
  • Have previous experience of working with pupils with significant social and communication difficulties
  • Have a passion for developing the social and emotional development of young people

Have a resilient character and have expertise in one or more of the following area:

  1. Applied Behaviour Analysis
  2. Principles of the "Treatmet Education Autistic Communication Children"
  3. (TEACCH) approach
  4. Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
  5. Makaton
  6. Intensive Interaction
  7. Team-Teach - Positive Behaviour Management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
