  • 2 x Full time SEN TA posts available (Permanent post and maternity cover)
  • ASAP start date
  • Working hours 8am - 4pm (term time only)
  • £1200 - £1300 per month, paid on a weekly basis
  • Introduction to a vibrant and successful secondary school in central Manchester

Due to the expansion of our client school and an internal maternity cover, Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for two Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to join their successful SEN department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, supporting students with various Special Educational Needs.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant at our client school, you will provide day to day support delivering 1:1, paired and small group teaching and learning sessions. You will work with key pupils to help develop their self confidence and academic progress whilst monitoring behaviour and assisting with any behavioural issues. We are looking someone who is well organised, has good planning skills, and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Our client school is located in central Manchester and has over 1000 pupils on roll. The school has an inner city catchment area providing education for a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Due to its inner city location, the school has excellent connections to universities, employers and a number of fantastic opportunities.
