Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified teacher to work at a client school based in Cardiff. The pupils that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. This means that the successful candidate will have to be well experienced in all kinds of SEN. Candidates will be asked to work between regular school times of 8:30-3:30, planning and some light marking may also be included dependent on the day and activities. You will be supported by specialist teaching assistants working either with a one to one or within small groups, you will be expected to help guide them with the work you have provided.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have gained qualified teaching status
  • Have experience working with SEN
  • Manual Handling (desired))
  • Are registered with the education workforce council
  • Can confidently plan a daily routine for support staff within the classroom
  • Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners
  • Team teach trained (desirable)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
