Experienced SEN Assistant required for Specialist School in Bradford

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for a full time role in an all age (2-19) specialist school in Bradford, recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

The successful applicant will work under the instruction of class teachers to provide support to pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions. A number of the pupils are non/pre verbal and may use alternative means of communication such as PECs or Makaton so training in either or both of these is essential. You must have experience of developing and implementing Education, Health and Care Plans for pupils with SEN and be able to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Medical professionals and Occupational Therapists.

The school is just a ten minute drive from Bradford City Centre, with regular bus services from Leeds and Bradford running every 10-15 minutes, with a stop just a few minutes' walk from the school.
