My client is a specialist SEN school supporting pupils who have an Autism Spectrum Condition and associated learning difficulties. Class sizes vary between 8 - 9 pupils and are well supported with a Class Teacher and Teaching Assistants. A progressive school they are committed to providing staff development offering training to help staff understanding and their working knowledge of Autism.
The school are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting pupils in both Key Stages 3 & 4, across all curriculum subjects. A full-time position, this is a long-term contract. Ideal candidates will have had previous experience working with ASC, or working within education setting.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
