This job is working in OfSTED rated "Outstanding" local authority maintained SEN school in the City of North Leeds for pupils aged between 4 - 19 years of age, with severe learning difficulties, complex autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The school offers its pupils a positive and supportive learning environment within which they deliver the best possible education to meet their individual learning needs. The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant Candidate

• Have experience working with ASD, SLD or PMLD children
• Have experience working with SEN (essential)
• Willingness to undertake personal care tasks (feeding, changing, toileting etc.)
• NQT, experienced UK and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
