Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant

I am currently looking to recruit a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a September start for a rated 'Outstanding' school in North London.

Role:

  • The role is full-time (5 days per week) for the successful candidate, however opportunities for part time work are also available at other schools in the area.
  • You will be supporting students with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Complex needs.
  • The role will require you to do personal care sometimes.

School:

  • Have been rated as 'OUTSTANDING' by Ofsted.
  • The school provides Special Education for primary age students.
  • The curriculum is tailored to maximise the potential of every student regardless of needs.

 Candidate:

  • Will have experience working in a school setting in a TA position.
  • Have experience working with individuals with Special Education Needs.
  • Individuals with experience using PECS/Makaton are highly desireable but this is not a necessity.
  • Have a friendly and personable manner.
  • Have a current Child only DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one.

Day rates: GBP60-75
