Job description

One of our client schools here at Teaching Personnel are looking for a speech and language trained teaching assistant to work within the SEN unit at the school. You will be asked to work within a one to one role, helping the pupil reach their daily tasks and learning objectives. Manual Handling trained candidates are desirable but not essential as training can be provided.

You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. Candidates with teaching assisting experience would be advantageous for the role. Pay will be determined by experience, usually ranging from £54.00 - £60.00 a day.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
