Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with an over-subscribed Market Deeping based secondary school to appoint a passionate Spanish teacher on a full-time basis from September 2019 (or sooner if possible) for a fixed 12 month period.

Due to a restructure within the Spanish department, this large secondary school are seeking a dynamic Spanish practitioner looking to take on a full-time role. If you would like further information for this exciting opportunity please see below.

  • Must live in the UK
  • Full-time Spanish teacher required from September 2019 (or earlier if possible) -12 months.
  • Must hold QTS alongside a relevant Degree level qualification within Spanish.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23,720 - £39,406 per annum.

The incoming Spanish teacher will be reporting to the Head of Department and will be responsible for the teaching and learning of Spanish at Key Stages 3/4. As an outstanding Spanish teacher, you will be expected to consistently deliver dynamic Spanish lessons alongside maintaining the highest standards of professional practice, teaching and expectations of all pupils.

The successful Spanish teacher will be required to;

  • Have up to date subject knowledge and a track record of success in maximising pupil progress across all key stages.
  • Consistently deliver outstanding Spanish lessons in line with the National curriculum in order to support pupil progression.
  • Take on extra curricular responsibilities where required as the Spanish faculty utilise a variety of activities such as theatre visits, academic support sessions and intervention.
