Job description

Full time Spanish Teacher required for a Secondary school based in the heart of Salford from February 2019, till the end of the academic year.

Due to a member of staff set to take medical leave towards the end of term, this dynamic Secondary School is seeking to appoint a passionate Spanish Teacher, to work within their MFL department.

Noted for the outstanding levels of innovative teaching and learning across the staff team, the incoming Spanish Teacher can expect to join a school priding themselves in outstanding teaching and learning.

  • Full time Spanish Teacher, February 2019 till the end of the academic year.
  • Must hold QTS alongside degree level qualification in Spanish or equivalent.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

The responsibilities for the successful Spanish Teacher will be required to;

  • Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic Spanish lessons in line with the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3/4 and GCSE.
  • Evaluate and assess pupil progress taking appropriate action to ensure relevant action is taken to continue challenging young people.
  • Promote positive behaviour management skills in line with School Behaviour Policies.

The school is easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Trafford. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
