- Full-time Spanish teacher.
- Required from April 2020.
- Maternity cover at a secondary school in Bolton.
- Supporting students aged 11-16.
- Paid to teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
Our client secondary school are currently looking for a Spanish teacher to cover a maternity leave from the Easter break to continue into the new academic year (September 2020).
The school has recently been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for consistently good results over the years. The school is a mixed Catholic secondary school and has above average results with 70% of pupils receiving a Grade 4 or above in both Maths and English at GCSE level. The school has modern facilities throughout the school with interactive whiteboards and several computer suites available to both pupils and staff.
The incoming teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside teaching a full timetable to pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will need to ensure their lessons are differentiated and meet the needs of students at varying levels of learning ability.
The school is based within Bolton and is easily accessible via the M62 and A58 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bury, Salford and central Manchester. For applicants without their own transport, the school can also be accessed via several forms of public transport from neighbouring areas including Bury, Eccles and Leigh.
