Location: St Helens
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish teacher to work within secondary schools in the St Helens area. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that promote language learning and cultural awareness.
The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be confident in adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Prior experience working with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to secondary school students.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and ensure an inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to create a positive learning experience.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.
- Ability to adapt lessons for students with SEN.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for language teaching and student development.
