Social and Behavioural Teaching Assistant required for a Salford (M28) 2 form entry Primary School
Working with social, emotional and challenging behaviours.
Challenging and rewarding position within a lovely school.
I am currently working with a lovely, family orientated, primary school with a strong inclusive ethos in the Salford area. This GOOD primary school provides great support to the local community and is proud to be at the heart of the community and
The primary school is looking for a strong minded Teaching Assistant who shares the school ethos to work with pupils in Key Stage on a 1:1 basis. Some children in KS1 have displayed signs of challenging behaviours and the primary school is looking for someone with strong classroom presence that is flexible and resilient.
The ideal person would have experience of working with children of a similar age or be able to transfer their skill set from an older age. They must be of a strong mentality and not be afraid to set strict boundaries and rules as the child will display challenging/aggressive behaviours at times. Ideally they would be Team Teach Trained.
The position is to start on September 3rd and would be on a long-term basis, more than likely for the rest of the academic year and potentially to go onto school contract next year.
If you are Team Teach Trained, or willing to be put through the Team Teach training and have the relevant skills and experience, either within a school or from another environment, please email me your CV or call the office on 0161 242 1792.
