Experienced SEN Support Worker required for specialist setting in Bradford

  • Do you have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs?

  • Are you able to support delivery of a broad and balanced, tailored curriculum?

A specialist SEN school in Bradford are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a full time maternity cover post. The school delivers a differentiated curriculum for pupils with moderate and severe learning difficulties aged 11-19.

You will appreciate and support the role of teachers and other professionals by developing and delivering care and support programmes which enable access to learning in the community as part of a teacher planned approach. You will also be required to attend to pupils’ personal needs, implementing and maintaining personal care plans and paying attention to personal, health and welfare in line with school policies.

You will be available to work during school hours during term time and have flexibility to attend staff meetings and/or training sessions outside of school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
