Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant with Primary experience for a SEN school in Bishop Auckland from March.
Ideally applicants would have experience with SLD and ASC, although not mandatory all applicants should posses the correct behaviours in order to support SLD students within the classroom. Additional training such as Team Teach and Moving & Handling is advantageous but not essential. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferrable skills such as Care Assistants.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• Teaching Assistant experience with relevant additional qualifications such as Moving & Handling
• Experience supporting children with SLD or a willingness to learn
• Patient and nurturing mannerism with excellent behaviour management skills
