To be considered for this role you must be either a bright Speech and Language graduate who has an impressive academic record, or experience Specialist Support Assistant who has supported pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs within a Bury Primary School setting.
Experience working within a Catholic school and excellent classroom based references is highly sought after.
This vacancy is open to those who have natural relationship building skills and a dedication to succeed in the role. You will have the skills to be consistently caring and supportive and face challenging situations with a confident nature.
The Speech and Language Teaching Assistant will arrive with the determination and passion to begin your dream career in education and this role will help you on your way to starting that career.
The role with require you to support a range of EYFS/KS1 pupils with moderate and severe Speech, Language and Communication Needs, on a small group or 1:1 basis.
This is a full time role that will take place Monday – Friday from 8.30am until 3.30pm. The role is to start immediately and continue until at least Half term, with the opportunity to extend further or become permanent.
