Early Years Practitioner needed for an immediate start in Sheffield S5 starting Feb half term 2017

  • Part time hours 8am - 4pm Monday - Wednesday
  • Access to school and TP CPD including Read Write Inc Phonics
  • Temp post moving to perm with the school Summer 2017

A high calibre school in North Sheffield are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their hard-working Early Years staff team. You will work with FS1 students identified with below average speech and language development on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of the EYFS and phonic schemes will be advantageous.
