British sign language trained? Look no further, we are looking for a BSL Teaching Assistant!

Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Sign language Teaching Assistant to be based within an excellent school in the Northolt area. They will be working closely with their SEN students, providing support for children with hearing impairment.

This excellent school has an outstanding SEN department, who are constantly looking for outgoing and confident teaching assistants with SEN experience. Dedication to the child's progression in their ability is key, enhancing the growth and confidence within every student!

Requirements:

  • Certified in British Sign Language (BSL) level 3
  • Communicate with parents and carers
  • Able to rely BSL from hearing impaired students to non-signing students or adults
  • Ability to build professional relationships with students and staff
  • Adapting to the pupils needs
  • A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
