September roles for SEN School in Walthamstow

SEN school in Walthamstow in need of Teaching Assistants to start in September

The school caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties and profound learning difficulties, and have complex learning needs.

A behaviour unit has also been set up to cater for pupils with behaviour issues.

Job specification:

  • Experience working in a primary school with SEN pupils
  • Child workforce DBS
  • Commit to a full day 08:30am to 16:00pm
  • SEN experience- SEMH, ASC , ADHD and PMLD
  • Psychology, Criminology, Drama or English Degree
  • Sports coaching qualification or background
  • Team Teach/ SKIP, CPI, MAPA physical intervention training
  • Positive, strong, confident personality
  • A genuine passion for young people's learning

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
