Job description

The Head Teacher of a Church of England Primary School in Gainsborough are seeking an experienced Sensory Teaching Assistant to support a Visually Impaired pupil within their Reception class. This is a full time role to commence after the Easter break.

Graded 'Good' in their most recent OFSTED, the school have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and are praised for their active participation to the local community. The school are dedicated to the progression of both their staff and pupils alike.

The right Teaching Assistant would:

  • Posses a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have relevant school based experience supporting Visually Impaired pupils in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Have a proven track record of building relations with both students and staff
  • Have good overall availability for both long and short term assignments
  • Have access to own mode of transport or good public transport links

What Teaching Personnel can offer?
