Job description

This outstanding SLD provision is currently seeking four full times SEN Senior Support Assistant to work on a one-to-one and small group basis with pupils with complex learning disabilities. Attending pupils are aged between 4 - 11 years of age, all of which are working toward allocated Educational Health Care Plans.

Due to an expanding pupil base the SEN provision is currently seeking four new Support staff members to join their exciting and exclusive team. The school caters for a wide variety of complex needs, operating in a fully inclusive and dedicated establishment which takes the education of young people with special educational needs extremely seriously, and have high expectations to fulfil personal and individual potential goals.

About the role:

  • One to one or small group support
  • Day time hours (08.30 - 15.30)
  • Competitive pay rates (between £10.00 and £12.00 an hour dependent on experience and qualifications)

Applicants must:

  • A current DBS or be willing to undergo one
  • Have experience working with children with SEN
  • Experience working with young people aged between 11 - 18
  • Be passionate about making a difference in schools
