SENDCO required in Exeter to start immediately or in January.

Are you a qualified SENCo who would like to work in an alternative Primary School in Exeter that has a highly inclusive ethos and a large number of SEN pupils?

Are you looking for a permanent role starting immediately or in January?

Teaching Personnel are working with a local primary school looking for a SENDCO to start as soon as possible or as of January. It is desirable to have a SENDCO qualification and knowledge and experience of the SEND code of practice within primary education and how to implement different strategies within a primary school.

We are looking for exceptional candidates who:

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the SEND code of practice within primary education and desirably have a SENDCO qualification or willing to work towards one.
  • Will work in collaboration with the senior leadership team, local governing body, teachers and specialists within the community and parents to ensure that our mission is translated into action and everyone is included in the decision making progress.
  • Can assist colleagues through training and resources for children to ensure the children make good progress and enjoy the learning process.
  • Will be committed to ensuring that all children with additional needs achieve the highest possible outcomes.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
