Experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Required

Experience with PMLD 

Warmley, Bristol.

Q – Are you looking for a new role within a fantastic 3FE primary school?

A large SEN school in Warmley is seeking 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to join them as soon as possible. We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months experience supporting children with PMLD that can take this experience into this school after the October half term.

 

 

PESRON SPECIFCIATION – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Experience supporting young people with PMLD

Experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Understanding ASD and high functioning needs

Minimum of 6 months experience with children with SEN

Additional training is desirable - Team Teach, MAPPA, Makaton and/or PECs, Level 2 BSL

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION – 

GBP57 to GBP70 per day

Full time during term time

Weekly pay - with the benefit of no Umbrella company!

Start date: November 4th (Or ASAP if successful candidate is available)

Supporting children between EYFS - KS3.

GOOD Ofsted grade

The successful candidate will be joining a large SEN School in Warmley.  The school is a provision for pupils aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties, and those on the Autistic Spectrum. The school also caters for pupils with additional needs including sensory impairments and physical disabilities. The school is on a single level and classrooms are organised with an interactive approach for pupils with SLD and PMLD, or a high structure/ low arousal approach for pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.
