A ever growing and expanding special needs school in Hull require an SEND teacher to start at the end of January 2018. The school offers an Outstanding provision for students between the ages of 5 and 16 years, who have a range of learning difficulties, including moderate and severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, profound and complex needs.

The role of SEND Teacher would be a full time class teaching role with all responsibility of planning, marking and assessment. Including differentiation of SEND for pupils.

Candidates from a Primary background would also suit this post but all applicants must be Fully Qualified Teachers and hold QTS. All applicants must have experience of SEND and Teaching pupils with additional needs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience of working with SEND Students
  • Track record of Teaching where relevant References can be obtained
  • SENCo qualification would be desired
  • Minimum of 2 Years teaching experience
  • Previous desired job roles: SEN Teacher, SENCo
  • Previous experience of working in a Specialist School/Service


APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 6 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
