Would you be interested in supporting a pupil with ASD in an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Stockton-On-Tees?

We are currently supporting one of our client primary schools in Stockton-On-Tees with their recruitment for September. Our client is looking for a teaching assistant to support a pupil with ASD on a 1:1 basis in a Year 3 class. The successful candidate will be working in a Year 3 class alongside 2 other teaching assistants, focusing on supporting a pupils with ASD in order to raise their attainment. This position is full time starting from September for the full academic year and it has the possibility of extending.

The school is located on the outskirts of Stockton and has parking available on site. The school can offer a supportive network of staff and Senior leadership to help you settle into your new role. As well as this your own specialist Teaching Personnel consultant will also be on hand to support.

The ideal candidate will have valuable experience working with KS2 in Primary schools and be up to date with the current curriculum. We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant with experience working with SEND Pupils. The successful candidate will be passionate, bubbly and committed to education.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
