Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a passionate and engaging Behaviour Mentor to start work at a well resourced secondary school based in Doncaster. The role shall be working 1:1 and in small groups up to 4 students that have SEND.

As a Behaviour Mentor you will need to have a related degree, display a passion for working in schools and communicate clearly with both students and staff whilst displaying a proactive approach within lessons. It would be ideal if you had some experience working within an educational setting previously and are considering a role in education at some point in the future.

To be considered for this Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:

  • 1st or 2:1 degree
  • A passion for Education and to support others
  • Prior school, education or tutoring experience would be preferred

You will be working with the SEND team supporting lessons and on a 1:1 basis providing chemistry support for children with autism, cognitive development and communication difficulties. You will need to display a motivational, engaging and patient manner throughout this role and be proactive to ensure the students are fully supported.
