Job description

Part time SENCO required in Herne Hill

  • 2.5/3 days a week
  • Flexibility with days/hours
  • Responsible for SEN support and provision across the whole school

A school in the Herne Hill area are looking for a part time SENCO to start in September. The role will be for 2.5/3 days per week and the school can be flexible with the hours.

The successful candidate will have a great deal of experience working with Special Educational Needs pupils in either mainstream or SENCO school. You will also need to have an excellent understanding of SEN. You will be involved in the planning, levelling, assessment, meeting parents. You will also support children to increase attainment across the class which includes planning lessons effectively.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
