SENCo Required for January 2021
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Catholic school in Dartford to appoint a qualified SENCo for a September start. The successful applicant will be fulfilling SENCo duties for 1.5 days per week (days dependent on flexibility) and teaching a Year 2 class every Monday. The position will run for the entirety of the academic year with the possibility to extend for the right applicant.
Specification:
- National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO) qualification
- UK QTS
- Experience supporting SEND students
- Experience teaching year 2 students is desirable but not essential
The successful applicant will be joining a welcoming, happy school where children and staff are helpful, considerate and respectful of each other. The school also enjoys a close partnership with the local Parish which provides a happy, caring and effective learning environment, where expectations and standards are high.
The school has been deemed ‘good’ by Ofsted and prides itself on a carefully designed curriculum to develop thinking skills, creativity and spirituality, encouraging confidence and opportunities for children to be excited about learning and challenged to achieve their very best.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to register with Teaching Personnel. This will be subject to receiving a clean and valid DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
