SEN Teaching Assistants Required in West Cornwall

Job description

I am seeking to appoint exceptional Teaching Assistants in the West of Cornwall with a range of proven skills and abilities including supporting SEN.

You will be required to support children with a range of needs including learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and associated problems such as speech & language and other emotional and behavioural difficulties. (PMLD, EYFS, SLD)

We have a number of client Schools in the West of Cornwall in need of Teaching Assistants on both a short term (day to day supply) and long term basis.

Candidates must:

  • Have experience of working with Children and/or adults with additional needs
  • Be highly driven with a passion to succeed
  • Be passionate about Safeguarding
  • Feel comfortable working with children
  • Be an excellent Communicator
  • Feel confident working as part of a team
  • Have a 'C' or above for English and Maths GCSE

Working through Teaching Personnel is extremely flexible; allowing you to work in the areas you choose and on the days you are available, with the use of an online diary system. You will have a dedicated team of consultants who are working on your behalf to find you the work you want! All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
