SEN Teaching Assistants Required in Newport

Job description

Teaching personnel are looking for SEN experienced teaching assistants to support pupils at a client school in Newport. The pupils you will be supporting will have learning difficulties and or challenging behaviour. You will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. Candidates will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. The required time to work will be within 8:30-3:30.

The students that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour.

This is a school with excellent supporting staff and a friendly environment. A great location with opportunity for both temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates. There is a competitive rate of pay to be offered to candidates ranging from £50.44-£60:00 a day along with additional benefits.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
